I am Jean Christophe Lagarde, a professional photographer based in Paris and also working in Marrakech. For more than twenty years, fashion has taught me to observe a silhouette, anticipate a movement and build an image down to its smallest details.
Yet what interests me remains deeply human: the trust that develops, an attitude that becomes natural, an unexpected gaze. I love cinematic atmospheres, deep blacks, midnight blue and poppy red. Above all, I love creating images that reflect their subject without looking like all the others.
